About me

Ellen ​​was born and raised in Southern California where her creativity and artistic ability was evident at a very early age. After earning Fine Art degrees from the University of California, San Diego, The Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California and Fine Art schools in both Aix-en-Provence, France and Vevey, Switzerland, Ellen moved to Paris where she immersed herself in art and culture and continued growing as an artist. Heavily influenced by Pop Art and 20th Century Realism, most notably David Hockney and Andy Warhol, as well as impressionists like Monet and Pissarro, Ellen's paintings have a unique graphic style reflecting the emotional tone her subjects.
